Burnside Gorge Community Association

Founded in 1991 in response to community need, the Burnside Gorge Community Association (BGCA) provides programs and services to support children, youth and families throughout the capital region.
Programming includes: a range of childcare programs for ages 3. 5 to 11; a range of community and school based youth & family services; housing and asset development supports for youth and families; community recreation and special events for all ages; and a variety of community development initiatives. The BGCA is a member of the Coalition of Neighbourhood Houses and your link to the City of Victoria to bring forward and address neighbourhood ideas and concerns within Burnside Gorge. Now that we have moved into phase 3 of the BC Restart plan, we would like to share how BGCA is moving forward with the new public health guidelines and recommendations. The City of Victoria will be completing sidewalk and paving projects. The work will take place on Lotus Street from Harriet Street to Irma Street and including the intersection of Irma and Lotus.
