**Job Title: Racking Systems Installer** **Job Description**

Join a dynamic team where you will be responsible for assembling and installing racking systems using a variety of tools. Your meticulous attention to detail and mechanical skills will ensure the proper installation and maintenance of these systems.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assemble and install racking systems using power drills, impacts, and hand tools.

+ Ensure proper installation by measuring distances between racks.

+ Perform spot quality checks to ensure racks are installed correctly.

+ Drill holes into the steel to attach bolts.

+ Conduct general labor, maintenance, and repairs.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ 1 year of general labor experience, preferably in construction.

+ Mechanically inclined with the ability to lift 50lbs.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with racking installation, iron work, scaffolding, apprentice millwright/tech, skilled labor, construction labor, carpentry, or rigging.

+ Experience working on heights.

+ Ability to work independently without constant supervision.

**Work Environment**

Work with a company specializing in integrated material handling and storage solutions. The project spans 5 months, and punctuality is crucial, with work scheduled Monday through Friday. Safety is prioritized with required PPE including hard hats, steel-toed shoes, and safety vests. This is a contract position based out of Langford, British Columbia, Canada. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
