Service options: In-store shopping An environmental initiative to remove all fabric waste from our garbage, that has been in effect since 2017. Nada is a play on the word meaning nothing, but stems from Korinne’s middle name and her grandmother’s name. Nada had five children spread out over 20 years, she sewed, even worked in a Toronto factory during her early adult years. She made quilts and was a homemaker on the family farm. She helped care for a child from the community who was in need. And is remembered as a very kind and loving person in the small rural area.
The fabric leftovers are made into bags, scrunchies, quilts, patchwork clothing items, small bundles for sale and stuffing for floor cushions.
Shipping materials are 100% recycled paper. Please recycle, reuse or compost. Know that these materials cost more, but I believe it is worth it. Jewelry is shipped in small paper boxes with reused bubblewrap.
